No, you only need to wear the functional appliance at home.

How long does a treatment last, on average?

Your practitioner is the only person who can decide on the length of treatment.

Is it painful?

No. However, it might feel a little bit painful on waking up.

How do I know if my child needs an Innova Pharm treatment?

You will only know if your child needs treatment after seeing your practitioner, or following a consultation with your dentist or your orthodontist.

I am worried about not being able to get used to my appliance.

If you want your treatment to progress in the best possible way, you must attend every appointment, look after your appliance, and follow the instructions in "My orthodontics leaflet".

Can I take out my appliance for a special occasion?

Yes, I can, it's a removable appliance.

Do I need to avoid certain types of food?

No, because you don't have your appliance in your mouth during meals.

What should I do if I have any pets?

Keep your appliance out of the way If you have any pets, as they go wild for them!

When do I need to wear my appliance?

The appliance should just be worn during the day and evening for one week. After a week it should be worn at night as well.
Most of all, follow your practitioner's instructions.
